Morgan McKinley HR are recruiting for a Senior HRBP for large and well-regarded business with an office in Chester. This is a regional role supporting 3500 - 4000 stakeholders in 40 different locations.
Senior HR Business Partner role is integral to the Operations and HR teams, as well as the wider business as a whole, with responsibility for the development and deployment of the People Plan for their wide range of stakeholders.
About the role
You will work as a senior business partner to the Service Delivery Leader and operational management team for Chester and North Wales, with accountability for the deployment of the People Plan to support the operational direction.
Acting as the key HR lead for this region, you will be a consultant and coach to senior managers and the leadership team to help them address business issues in line with the People Plan. You will act as the expert for Industrial Relations, ensuring adherence to our IR Framework principles and working with the management team to develop robust change plans and activities.
By deploying the Talent and Resourcing within the area, you will put in place plans and activities to develop, retain and attract talent.
Working collaboratively with Centre of Excellence and HRS leadership teams, you will successfully deploy the HR strategy and key processes to drive business performance and engagement.
You will have HR experience in an operational and unionised matrix environment where excellent stakeholder management and influencing is key. You will be building productive and rewarding relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business, with a style that is self-assured, confident and fair. You will need to be comfortable using data to drive activities and decision making.
With high levels of enthusiasm and resilience, you will be a collaborative team worker and leader, able to move flexibly at pace in a fast-moving environment to deliver results and manage change. Experience of business partnering is also key within this role.
With a proven track record of leadership, you will be able to lead and motivate to ensure continuing growth and success. To support this, you will be educated to degree level or equivalent. It is desirable, but not essential, for you to be CIPD Level 5 qualified
