Senior Finance Business Partner - Leisure/Travel - £65,000

An excellent opportunity as a Senior Finance Business Partner has arisen within an award winning and fast-growing group of travel companies, based within walking distance from Chancery Lane Station. The role is paying between £60,000 - £65,000 and would suit candidates who are confident engaging Senior Leadership Teams.

As a high profile role within the finance team, this role will take overall ownership of strategic initiatives and trading optimisation.

Brief overview of responsibilties:

  • Take ownership of the assumptions that drive the trading P&L and trading KPI's within the group; Monitor KPI's to track actuals vs historic & targeted metrics
  • Be a proactive driver of key strategic initiatives, including identifying areas of opportunity
  • Initiatives to include group-wide optimisation projects, acquisition appraisals, new market launch, & launching new business models etc
  • Own agenda of continous optimisation, drive improvement plans & support grouo to deliver the optimum: Procurement strategy; Pricing strategy; Sales centre efficiency; Marketing activity spend & ROI; Marketing retention plan; Overheads & operating model optimisation etc
  • Provide finance business partnership to the MD's, Group CGO, Head of Finance, Brand Financial Controllers, Sales Directors, Marketing Directors, Product Directors, & CIO within the Group
  • Own financial assessment of Business Cases; Drive data insights and analysis for key stakeholders
  • Contribute to monthly board materials
  • Support wider finance division on finance projects

Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant
  • Excellent business partnering & strategic skills - ability to challenge and influence at senior levels
  • Ability to build strong relationships across the business
  • Strong modelling and excel skills with ability to process and summarise large amount of data
  • Continous improvement background
  • A good understanding of the Tour Operator business model/Travel industry and market is highly advantageous (although not essential - Candidates can be from any industry or Big 4 background)
