Our Morgan McKinley Secretarial & Office Support team, are looking for a Senior Executive Assistant to provide a professional and efficient EA support to the very busy Corporate Affairs Director within a large oragnisation based in the City area.

This is an exceptionally busy role, in which the successful candidate will have proven experience working in a similar Senior Executive Assistant role, with experience working in a highly confidential environment and organising an office with high profile internal and external meetings and events.

Salary: £52-60K dependent on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5.30. Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is required

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • From scratch, creating and developing of presentations, meeting papers and speaker notes, ensuring that briefings for meetings have been prepared and debriefing takes place.
  • Becoming an integral part of the Corporate Affairs Director's leadership team - developing relations within this team, attending team meetings, taking minutes and managing actions
  • Managing weekly Executive Committee pack
  • Diary management
  • Reviewing all emails and taking appropriate action on behalf of the Corporate Affairs Director
  • Be proactive at all times in taking responsibility for closed loop control on all personal actions
  • Oversight of extensive external engagement agenda
  • Arranging events, meetings and all-hands calls, ensuring all the logistics are in place and the events run smoothly
  • Providing secretarial duties in a timely and efficient manner
  • Typing of correspondence and responding to emails
  • Organising hospitality and travel arrangements
  • Ordering stationery, expense claims, computing orders etc.

Skills and experience needed for the Senior EA role:

  • Previous Senior Executive Assistant experience, working in a similar role, supporting at Director - C-suite level
  • Experience of developing presentations and speaker notes
  • Proven ability to project-manage and co-ordinate activities effectively
  • Able to work independently in a multi-tasking environment impacted by changing priorities.
  • Confident, approachable, assertive and calm under pressure
  • Have the ability to maintain a professional approach at all times and demonstrate a high degree of discretion & confidentiality.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications.
