Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk - Horsham

Morgan McKinley are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger to work with our client based in Horsham. The main purpose of this role will be to ensure suppliers queries are dealt with in a timely manner and to ensure completion and accuracy of the purchase ledger.

Salary - £11 - £12 per hour plus holiday pay

Basis - Temporary with a view to go permanent

Length of assignment - 3 months temp initially

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage the Finance inbox

  • Match invoices to PO's

  • Ensure suppliers queries are dealt with in a timely manner

  • Maintaining good relationships with suppliers

  • Identify discrepancies

  • Liaise with suppliers

  • Perform reconciliations and resolve differences

  • Reconcile supplier accounts

  • Process expense claims

  • Scan purchase invoices

Key skills and experience needed:

  • Accounts payable experience

  • An understanding of the accounts payable process

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good working computer knowledge
