Procurement Project Coordinator

Job Title: Procurement Project Coordinator
Duration: 6 month FTC
Days: Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week
Start date: ASAP
Salary: Up to £38,000
Location: Aldershot

My client who are a global organisation located in Aldershot have a requirement for a Project Coordinator to join them on a 6 month FTC starting in January 2020.

Duties will include;

  • Procedural review and documentation
  • Workflow review and documentation
  • Communicating, liaising with and supporting other team members of the supply chain team
  • Preparing weekly progress review meetings and planning objectives for the week ahead
  • Identifying and collecting KPI's and other procurement measurements
  • Assisting the Procurement Manager where needed

Core requirements:

  • Demonstrable exposure to quality initiative and process reviews (ISO9001, Six sigma methodologies)
  • Experience of working within a fast paced environment
  • IT competent with a good knowledge of MS office including MS Planner
  • CIPS accredited or similar experience of procurement would be advantageous
  • Experienced within documenting procedures
  • Experience of working with a ERP/MRP systems (SAP/Oracle etc)
  • Good attention to detail
  • Willing and positive attitude

You must be available to start in January 2020
