Advisory senior manager - Big 4 in Bristol
At present, I am partnering with a Big 4 firm who are looking to bolster their private client tax team in Bristol with the addition of an experienced Senior Manager. Joining a national practice team allows you to be part of an established network, with plenty of opportunity for progression within this team.
The team have an outstanding and interesting client base which has been nurtured over the years and new work being won off the back of business development but also returning and referral clients. The client base ranges from UHNW, Entrepreneurs and stakeholders in privately owned businesses, PE and Corporate execs - all of whom may be tax resident in jurisdictions outside of the UK.
Very much an advisory role, a successful applicant will be very experienced and comfortable with dealing with clients on a day to day basis.
Brief overview of responsibilities includes:
-Ensuring high quality service is delivered to clients;
-Managing a portfolio of complex clients and can spot opportunities. You will also need to be able to advise not just on the issue at hand but also IHT, CGT and potentially issues pertaining to private businesses.
-Be adaptable, and provide one-off bespoke advice to clients where necessary
-Project manage your portfolio and assignments and ensure that deadlines are met along with providing clear and concise communication
-Managing work in progress and ensuring prompt billing and cash collection;
-Oversee and be involved in the development and performance of the more junior staff.
The successful senior manager candidate will need to be CTA or ACA qualified, track record of working with clients in a similar private client environment and relish opportunities to progress in your career.
