In-house Litigation Manager role for a Personal Injury Lawyer / Road Traffic Act Lawyer

This leading insurance company provides outstanding legal advice to its customers in relation to claims being brought for personal injury and road traffic accidents. A forward thinking company and an employer of choice, they are currently seeking a litigation manager to oversee the department.

The role will manage the litigation department for all motor and personal injury claims and oversee solicitors, legal executives and paralegals. You will advise on a range of topics and provide legal advice to customers in relation to these claims. In addition you shall:

  • Be accountable for continuously driving performance by setting and delivering on appropriate operational and financial targets and monitoring progress towards those targets.
  • Supporting the development of the department by best practice and the client experience through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Acting as a legal expert on relevant areas of law providing specialist technical and/or legal oversight to support the teams.
  • Ensuring the provision of expert, ethical and pragmatic advice and support to clients.
  • Working with the COFA and COLP to ensure the business operates in line with all legal and regulatory expectations
