Morgan McKinley are recruiting for an Administration Assistant to join our very well established Japanese financial services organisation based in the City. This permanent, full time Admin Assistant job will be responsible for administration and secretarial support to colleagues and will report into the Office Manager. Ideally candidates will have proven knowledge of Japan or language skills.
The salary for this position is £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.
Everyday duties and responsibilities:
Providing administrative and secretarial support to directors and team
Handling incoming phone calls
Answering emails and postal correspondence with customers, colleagues and suppliers
Meeting and greeting all visitors to the office
Ensuring the office and kitchen are organised
Ordering office supplies
Preparation of documents and applications
Correspondence with overseas clients and colleagues
Skills and experience required for the job:
Proven experience working in an Admin support type role
Language skills - Fluent English and ideally Japanese but not essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
Strong attention to detail
Excellent IT skills including MS Office
Professional telephone manner
