Insurance Accountant - IFRS17 - Change - Bristol - £520/day
My client, based in Bristol, are looking to bring in an insurance experience accountant to support it's IFRS 17 Ledger and Disclosure systems and process development.
This role is within the Accounting Change team. The team provides insurance accounting systems and process change support to those teams responsible for operational accounting and financial reporting.
The role requires a qualified accountant with finance reporting system and process change capabilities. Insurance accounting experience would be advantageous as the successful candidate is expected to support the implementation of change on Finance Reporting ledger and reporting systems and processes brought about by the introduction of IFRS 17 - a new and significant change in the way we report on Insurance Business.
The ideal candidate should be able to show previous ledger change, and have accounting change and finance reporting experience. We also expect the candidate to be able to demonstrate recent ledger use/development (ideally Oracle, OLAS or SAP), insurance accounting and reporting knowledge.
As part the team, the successful candidate will work with reporting and operational accountants SME's.
We are looking for someone with:
- Finance Reporting and ledger process change experience
- Insurance Accounting experience; and
- Strong inter-personal skills
Experienced ACA Accountant - reporting experience is a must
Insurance accounting and ideally IFRS 17 knowledge
