Head of Sales - London - Open Banking
My client is a high growth fintech start up specialising in open banking. They are currently seeking an experienced head of sales to join the business to head up and grow the sales function. Job Title: Commercial Director
Location: Central London
Package: up to £90K base + bonus + options
This position reports directly into the CEO and sits within the management team. Your role will be to head up the existing small sales team and grow this out over the next few years. You will be leading from the front as a player manager and your remit will cover new business sales, account management and partnerships. You'll be selling my clients API solution to enterprise clients across the UK and Ireland initially, however your territory will grow as the business grows to encompass clients across EMEA and ultimately across the globe.
You will have experience leading and growing sales teams within a relevant firm, ideally within the fintech or payments industry. It is also imperative that you have experience selling API solutions to enterprise clients, candidates who do not have this experience will not be considered. You will have a successful sales track record as an individual contributor as well as experience leading and growing sales teams. We are looking for hunters, who have the ability to break into new clients and create and execute sales plans. It's important that you are also able to build lasting relationships with clients and have the ability to grow an existing client base.
