Head of Account Management - Market Intelligence - Future Housing, cities and technology £73-80k

Our client, a future enabler, whic works with industry, cities, governments and academia to define, create, test and sell products and services for cities. Randing from transport, housing and technology solutions, innovation centres.

The role

You will lead and develop a range of projects within the organisations portfolio, helping to develop new projects from existing accounts and projects taking on ideas from the new markets team. You will bring proven knowledge from 2 or more of the following areas : Housing, UK Cities, Digital Transformation, Service Provision and Technology.

You will be responsible for:

  • Project planning with internal teams and external clients
  • Line management of bid team
  • Strategy development for additional revenue streams
  • Network and showcase the organisations work at events
  • Contract negotiation

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A track record of developing and winning commercial and collaborative research and development contracts
  • Networking skills
  • Consultative approach and negotiation skills
  • Experience of working with city leaders, blue chips and SMEs - ideally with a network in this area
  • Experience working in a project led environment including commercial development
  • Ideally come from a high growth company, start up or consultancy
