Leading Investment Management Firm hiring an Event Co-ordinator

My client, a leading investment management firm are actively looking for events management professionals with investment management experience to join their successful team in London. City based, the role will allow the successful applicant to build upon already existing event co-ordination skills and is an excellent opportunity.

Event Co-Ordinator's key responsiblities

  • Co-ordination of Firm's event and seminar programme working with multiple internal teams
  • Identification of sales and marketing opportunities and construction of a suitable events programe for Third Party Distribution in line with these the opportunities identified
  • Proposition of new events to drive business aims
  • Working within set budgets, negotiating costs with suppliers to ensure best value for money
  • Management of invitation and registration processes and managing responses using CRM systems and databases
  • Attending and managing events on site or on location in the UK and Ocassionaly in Ireland and co-ordinating additional staff and suppliers for large scale events
  • Maintenance of collateral in adherance with company branding
  • Sourcing of relevant merchandise of the best value for money
  • Assisiting with event communications - liaising with the wider marketing team
  • Documentation of KPIS to monitor event success and improvements

Event Co-Ordinator's skills and experience

  • MUST have previous events AND asset management experience
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills and a good eye for detail
  • Should value the importance of maintaining relationships with team members, senior stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Flexibility in working hours
  • Experience with relevant software and tools
  • Working on own initiative with a proactive approach to work
  • A collaborative approach to work with the desire to continually learn and develop

Salary: £30-£45K (dependent on experience) + bonus and benefits
