Job Title: Document Controller
Salary: Up to £30,000
Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm
Days: Monday to Friday
Parking: Yes
Location: Guildford

I am currently recruiting for a Document Controller for a global leader who are a UK Top 10 within their specialism - this role is based in Guildford.

Within the role of Document Controller you will reporting in to the Senior Document Controller and be responsible for providing document control support in accordance with the company management system

Duties will include:

  • Assisting with Deliverable Issues by uploading onto extranet sites with document and revision control of deliverables
  • Assisting with the processing of incoming deliverables, to include filing in correct locations and printing any drawings as required
  • Issuing deliverables to clients/consultants via various extranets
  • Document revision control of deliverables for issue
  • Ensuring documents are as up to date as possible
  • Prepare and issue transmittals and work packages via extranet sites
  • File issued deliverables in the correct project folders
  • Liaising with external document controllers regarding updates and document control matters.
  • Download and file received deliverables in dated folders electronically, hard copy if requested
  • Drive for Results
  • Work hard to deliver objectives; respond to instructions; meet deadlines; act on feedback.

  • Experience of document control is essential
  • Knowledge of a Project File Management Software would be an advantage
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
