Morgan McKinley's, London Secretarial & Office Support team are recruiting for a Customer Service Officer to join our client, a leading bank based in the heart of London.

The main purpose for this role will be responsible for day to day customer service in the personal Banking team, to provide an exceptional level of customer service to all clients and understanding any planning & administrative duties to support the personal banking team.

You will be asked to undertake the following duties:

  • Timely reporting of transactions as required by AML policy and Bank procedures
  • Process unpaid cheques and direct debits and associated duties
  • Process fixed deposits and associated duties with full attention to detail and ensuring full accuracy
  • Processing of client accounts
  • Monthly reporting of business volumes
  • Processing drafts for payment of customer bills and associated duties.
  • Ensure strict compliance with the FAB UK Financial Crime Framework in relation to customer contact and investigation.
  • Prepare presentations and supporting papers to support the customer service team.

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous customer services experience/ branch banking experience both in person and on the telephone.
  • Knowledge of retail banking and operations processing
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in delivery
  • Good team player and ability to work in small and large teams.
