Great new Customer Service - Contact Centre Agent roles working for a leading employer based in the West Sussex area...

Morgan McKinley is looking for experienced Customer Service - Contact Centre Agent to join a very well established and reputable organisation based in the East Grinstead, West Sussex area.

The main purpose of the Contact Centre Agent job role is to promote a range of the company's services and products, handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints, as well as; provide excellent customer service in relation to all product areas via Inbound calls, outbound calls, e-mail, WebChat and social media as required.

Interview process and start date: The Contact Centre Agent interview assessment will be held on 3rd and 5th September 2019 and if successful the role is to start on the 14th October 2019.

Salary: £21,500 per annum plus excellent company benefits such as; 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, bonus scheme etc.

Working hours: 35 hour working week. The customer contact centre operates from 8.45am-6pm Monday to Friday. Please note you will be required to work occasionally on a Saturday 9-1pm between Feb-Aug 2020

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Promote to customers all the companies services such as their Subscription, Insurance etc.
  • Provide a high level customer advice and information service to existing customers and potential customers
  • Answer inbound customer calls
  • Deal with customer via inbound and outbound calls, e-mail, WebChat etc.
  • Process and escalate any calls as necessary to ensure first time resolution wherever possible.
  • Support and assist colleagues through sharing of knowledge and experience in a "Buddy" environment to ensure a quality service to customers is maintained
  • Assist other sections of the department and represent the company at outside events as required.

Skills and experience required for the Contact Centre Agent role:

  • Candidates must have proven experience of customer service ideally within a busy Call/Contact Centre
  • Experience of dealing with customers via Inbound calls, outbound calls, e-mail, WebChat and social media
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to demonstrate a confident, empathetic approach to customer service including; investigation, negotiation and product promotion via a variety of channels.
