Morgan McKinley is recruiting for a Business Unit Manager on behalf of a Top-Tier investment bank in Belfast. The Business unit Manager will be responsible for the the management of the Financials,Headcount, Real Estate and Vendor Management Planning Processes, as well as providing ongoing support to the ICG Technology Production Support Leadership Team.
We are looking for a Business Unit Manager to cover a parental leave for a minimum of 6 months. They will be key resource supporting the Production Support Management Office for ICG Technology production Support, as well as various Production Support Technology groups. This is a global role.
Working with Senior Management, Recruiting, Finance and Vendor Management to understand and track each group's headcount, identify trends and resolve issues as they emerge in addition to ensuring, accuracy in reporting, onboarding and termination of resources
Managing financial reporting, monthly analysis and forecasting activities, client chargebacks, as well as accruals, and the yearly budgeting process for each group
Serving as a business partner to Finance, Human Resources, Vendor Management, the Staffing Office and Technology
Program and Project level forecasting and analysis
Communication of financial policies and procedures
Managing strategic cost reduction and location strategic initiatives
Providing ongoing analysis and reporting to Senior Management
Participating in and providing support for significant Operations ad-hoc projects and Production
Support initiatives, including but not limited to, analysis and reporting of consumption expenses
Required Skills and Competencies
5-7 years' experience in Financial Services, preferably in a Finance, Expense Management,
Business Office, Chief of Staff or CAO Role.
AnalyticAL ability, strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Good interpersonal skills, ability to interact with Senior Management
Strong written communications.
A good team player with the ability to multi- task
Knowledge of ICG products and business processes
Understanding of Corporate Finance processes
Demonstrated success in managing large, complex budgets / financials
Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative
Ability to manage deliverables within aggressive timeframes; ability to cope under time
MBA, CPA/CFA, PMP, CSM or Lean Six Sigma Certification a plus
