Our client is currently looking to hire a Sales Manager for their UK team. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in selling sophisticated software solutions in Europe to join a rapidly growing business of circa 100 employees worldwide. JOB TITLE - Business Development Manager EMEA (High-End Tech Sales)
INDUSTRY - Technology - Software Solutions Sales
LOCATION - UK / Remote Working
SALARY - £70,000 - £100,000 base (dependent on experience) + OTE

THE ROLE
Your role will be to:

  • Identify, pitch and close new business throughout the EMEA market. Targeting tier 1 and tier 2 companies who manage, hold and process large volumes of data.
  • Aid the business in its growth plans throughout the region. Close high value deals selling sophisticated software solutions.
  • Generate clients via calls, skypes and trips throughout EMEA countries.
  • Work closely with Marketers, Consultants and other Sellers to manage the EMEA territory
  • Join a new team which has been set up in the UK giving you an excellent opportunity for growth within the business.
  • Travel regularly, within the UK and around Europe.

THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will bring with them:

  • Solid experience selling sophisticated software products within Europe, with a good understanding of technology. Field sales experience is a must.
  • Clear experience and connections to the EMEA market
  • An ability to close high value deals and a demonstrable track record of doing so for the last few years, dealing with mid to enterprise size clients.
  • Previous experience selling technology within the industry for the last 5-10 years.
  • A degree in computer science or related field would be preferred but by no means essential.

THE PACKAGE
£70,000 - £100,000 base salary, with OTE, plus potential for company stock options.
