We're looking for a personable and driven Project Manager with at least 3 years' PM experience in AV, IT or Live Event Production, within a large Tech or Regional Construction Industry

£28/hour (plus holiday) Approx. £58,000pa (Negotiable)
12 Month Contract - potential for extension

The Role

You will be responsible for reporting and governance of delivery of new AV Spaces within EMEA, supporting the EMEA AV Deployment Team, based in London. This role will be reporting to EMEA AV Projects Lead and EMEA AV Technical Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn our standards for design and implementation of AV spaces
  • Become conversant with AV Deployments Runbook
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Provide reports and updates to AV Projects Lead
  • Update internal project management tool - ensure data hygiene - monitor project plans
  • Liaise with AV integrators ushering projects through life cycle
  • Managing logistics tickets for company-owned equipment to be shipped to various sites in EMEA (import waybills, payment of duties, arranging safe storage)
  • Report escalations from project teams and AV Integrator to Projects Lead
  • Manage financial hygiene of the portfolio: quotations, purchase orders, change orders and invoices
  • Manage the completion of First Day of Business activity: closeout 'punch lists' / snags
  • Ensure project closure processes are completed - including handover to support team
  • Report on operational goals and lead ongoing process and program improvement initiatives.

Key Skill & Experience

Level 1 Project Manager

  • Minimum 3 years' Project Management experience in AV, IT or Live Event Production Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities
  • Creative and problem-solving, excellent analytical skills
  • Agility and calmness under pressure
  • Confident and friendly client-facing demeanour
  • Confident utilising gSuite: Sheets, Docs, Slides etc.
  • Ability to understand technical subjects and emerging technologies
  • Demonstrable vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Experience utilising project management software and reporting tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Ideal but not essential

  • Degree, Diploma or Certificate in AV, IT, Networking, Project/Construction Management
  • Knowledge of Regional construction industry terminology
