Morgan McKinley are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our established IT team in London. This is a key growth area within the team and the successful consultant will be expected to develop a new and existing client base.

You will be coming in to a warm market with numerous clients and candidates as well as working alongside some of the best performers globally.

IT is all about relationship building & speed - our key performers are known for their phone time as well as market mapping both the client and candidate base.

The IT Recruitment Sector is and is going to remain to be one of the hottest in the UK and Morgan McKinley IT are perfectly placed to become market leaders. We are currently on a number of PSL's and work closely with our Bid Solutions team on securing exclusive business coming in.

Job Description:

The role of an IT Recruitment Consultant is to solve one of the biggest challenges facing most businesses: finding the right talent to fill key roles. Placing candidates into various roles, you will be in charge of the whole recruitment process. You'll be meeting and sourcing new clients by various sales and business development techniques and discovering their needs. Also you will be sourcing candidates using various methods such as job portals and social media, scheduling interviews, referencing and negotiating on your candidate's behalf. A recruiter's role is extremely busy and requires a blend of both sales and relationship building skills.

Roles / Responsibilities:

  • Achieving monthly and quarterly fee targets
  • Sourcing candidates through advertising, search and networking
  • Interviewing, selection and assessment of candidates
  • Business development activity targeting new and existing clients, including research, canvass calls, and quality calls
  • Developing and maintaining an expert knowledge of the specialist sector and market recruited in
  • Preparing candidates and clients for interview
  • Ensuring that all clients and candidates receive the highest possible level of service
  • Completing all candidate and client information on database system
  • Ensuring all information is kept up to date

Skills / Experience:

  • Third level educated
  • Good Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) grades
  • Proven track-record of working in a demanding recruitment/sales/professional environment
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven relationship building skills
  • Proven time management and organisational skills
