Before applying please note that this role is a permanent and full time role in DUBLIN, IRELAND, it is not feasible for the position to have a hybrid location with a base in London or elsewhere.
In brief, this position is ideal for a seasoned Leveraged Finance Credit Risk professional who has a proven track record in sanctioning complex and highly structured leveraged finance transactions.
Coming from a high performing Credit Risk team within Investment Banking is a desirable background and While the portfolio is mainly European, all jurisdictions are in play.
Your current position should include approving/sanctioning large leveraged and often complex exposures and being a regular attendee of relevant supporting/credit committees aswell as holding significant discretion's, delegations/approval authority is desirable. Being comfortable to challenge decisions when necessary by way of providing strong supporting evidence and being confident with presenting your findings to senior stakeholders is a must have.
Given the remit of the role, you will be involved with shaping the credit appetite of the function and work with the team to ensure that frameworks and policies are consistent and adhered to.
As the group continues to expand, it is of paramount importance that this growth has a robust risk infrastructure in place to support expansion.
You will be expected to liaise with senior stakeholders and management including the group CRO on a regular basis.
