I specialise in recruiting Qualified interim and contract finance roles within commerce and industry.
Always have an objective in what you want even if it's short term goals. Many of the candidates I represent are career contractors and have taken the decision to take that path. Really consider if contracting is what you want as once you take that path many people don't go back to permanent work. You must take many factors in to consideration such as periods of time where you are between contracts, differing rates between contracts and whether you want to operate through your own limited company or via PAYE. Contracting can be very rewarding and give you a varied exposure. Make sure you get good, honest advice about assignments especially if you are going into them without an interview.
I joined Morgan McKinley in August 2011, having worked for two large names within financial recruitment. I had been recruiting within the Surrey/Hampshire market for over seven years with a particular focus on qualified interim roles.
The candidates that I represent range from statutory accounts to commercial finance to projects such as systems implementations. I began my career within marketing before moving into recruitment. Clients that I support range from major blue chip businesses to high growing SMEs. I have also supported a number of businesses going through major transformations and I feel that the key this success is to listen to the requirement of both the clients and the candidates and providing honest, trusted advice to support the process.
