Jules Remet still gleaming...We held an event for England’s opening game of the World Cup, with numerous clients attending to watch the Three Lions get off to a winning start.
Morgan McKinley were delighted to host an event for the England vs Tunisia game and wow, what a night it was! Set in the fantastic privately hired Temple Brewhouse microbrewery, over 150 clients from within the City settled in to watch the game, enjoying a wide range of free craft ales and food.
The night was held in order to raise funds in support of our chosen charity for this year - YoungMinds. Due to the generous donations and our 1st goalscorer competition, we collected an amazing £1600 on the evening, all for a great cause. Well done to those winners and a huge thanks for all your contributions!
With the bar packed full of our attendees, the excitement was significantly ramped up by an early Harry Kane goal. It seemed like the same old, typical England to have sustained pressure and possession, only to chuck it away leaving nerves significantly shredded and many fans frustrated. They were on course to dampen the spirit of a jovial evening BUT…not this time!
A last minute Kane winner, the bar ecstatic - an England win to start their campaign in Russia. The perfect ending to a fantastic evening!
Could football be coming home? We haven’t stopped dreaming...
Thank you again for all that attended and donated on the evening, I hope you really enjoyed the night and look forward to the next one!
