Our London office held the second in the series of Media and Technology networking events on Thursday 22nd January, hosted in association with Partizan Brewery.
Created in November 2011, Partizan is now part of a growing number of fine breweries in London. Based in a converted railway arch in Bermondsey's Almond Road, founder and Head Brewer Andy Smith and good friend, illustrator Alec Doherty have between them created a constantly changing line-up of flavours alongside elaborate, ever-evolving pieces of pop-art.
We tasted six very different beers, which were brewed in small batches at HQ in Almond Road and hand selected by our guest speaker Chris Heaney. Each beer had been selected because of its unique taste and character, some of which had been infused with various fruit, herbs and spices.
Throughout the evening, Chris, our brewing expert, provided short yet informative snapshots of information on beer production, creating the flavour through hops selection and an update on the cultural shift from mass produced and flavourless lagers to hand crafted small batch brewing.
Thank you to everyone who attended what proved to be a great evening among valued clients and friends. We hope you enjoyed the event as much as the team at Morgan McKinley.
