Marketing and Communications Recruitment: The Numbers

Cathy Taylor 08.03.2018

The marketing and communications financial services team has seen some significant success in the last year, this article breaks down the areas of greatest progress.

Did you know?

Millennials are undoubtedly changing the way content is created and blogs are being published. As a Marketing recruitment specialist, I’m personally very conscious of brands, campaigns, blogs and content around me. This, coupled with my short attention span, means I personally like statistics, facts and figures that are easy to digest and quick to read! Therefore, I thought it would be a good idea to give you a high level overview of our marketing and communications financial services team so that you can see the success we’ve had in the past 12 months.

To add to this, one of Goldman Sachs’ recent blogs stated:

“Millennials are a generation of digital natives, and their affinity for technology helps shape how they shop. They are used to instant access to price comparisons, product information and peer reviews”

This is clearly true. In this day and age, consumers and job seekers are often keen to check facts, figures and reviews in order to assess the credibility of a product or brand before committing to something. As an example, how many people will look at TripAdvisor before booking a holiday or a restaurant?

Well, recruitment is no different, and whilst you can of course view our recommendations on LinkedIn, as a recruitment agency and financial services specialists, we wanted to give you some tangible insights outlining why you should choose us as your trusted job hunting and recruitment partner.

Growing team

Due to significant investments in marketing, we have noted an immense demand for marketing, communications and events specialists within financial services. We have also invested in our team, growing from two recruitment consultants in Q1 2017 to five as of the end of Q1 2018, reflecting this increasing demand.

What this means for you is that we are able to give you a broader range of job opportunities and businesses to choose from within the financial services sector, including brokers, trading houses, management consultancies, professional services, FinTechs, clearing houses and exchanges, as well as our bread and butter banking and investment management.

It is also important to note that we are long-term, trusted partners with our clients, and the majority of the businesses we work with repeatedly give us mandates to work on and hire multiple times across their marketing teams.

We currently engage with 4,996 financial services marketing, communications and events active job seekers in London, and proactively headhunt on a daily basis to ensure that we can provide our clients with the best person for their team but also help talent find the best role for them!

We pride ourselves on our quality of service and as a team, we give 100% interview preparation to all of our applicants during their interview processes and job search with us, and it definitely pays off. We take the time to understand you, your needs, your strengths and weaknesses, and can offer proactive coaching to get you through each stage of the process.
