The UK remains a headquarters for decision making in Europe, so we are not expecting a huge amount to change in terms of Marketing recruitment as we progress through 2019.

2018 was another bustling year for marketing and communications recruitment, particularly as banks completed structural reform and ring-fencing projects, asset managers offshored teams and within commerce and industry, there was an increased demand for digital marketing.
In an attempt to keep talent, employers have been offering initial ‘temporary to permanent’ options, mostly on the Fixed Term Contract basis. Unsurprisingly, if organisations want to attract a higher quality talent pool, they must be offering increased rates in order to fill RFP writer jobs, investment writer jobs and other Marketing positions.
As part of compiling the 2019 Morgan McKinley salary guides, 2,400 active UK based professionals and employers were surveyed to gain an insight into their varying views of employment.
