The Accounting & Finance Investment Management recruitment landscape

2018 restored confidence in accounting and finance professionals associated with the investment management industry. As the uncertainty surrounding Brexit continued, and with the threat of offshoring London employees still evident, it was pleasing to see a 13% increase in permanent hires across the London market compared to 2017. In contrast, we have seen a 17% decrease in the volume of contract jobs when comparing the same time frames.

The outlook for 2019 remains positive - fundraising continues to attract investors who are looking to maximise profits in this time of uncertainty. As many firms continue to see an increase in their assets under management, finance remains a key area of importance.
