Overview of the client

The Bermuda office of this Big 4 firm are looking for highly motivated newly qualified accountants to fulfill a dynamic role within the alternative investment team in Bermuda. Bermuda can offer you a world-class experience exposing you to some of the most challenging and innovative products in today's markets. Client base includes hedge funds, mutual funds and funds to funds.

Roles/Responsibilities

Seniors in the alternative investment team will predominantly be assigned to offshore fund clients. Responsibilities for the senior will vary depending upon the scope and nature of the engagement. Ranging from large assurance projects to one off advisory roles.

Skills/Experience

ACA, CA, CPA, ACCA qualification or nearly qualified or equivalent
Strong in-charge or senior experience
High degree of competence with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent written and oral skills as well as excellent presentation skills
Ability to produce and review complex financial statements and proposals
Outstanding people skills with the ability to work with all levels
Familiarity with US, Canadian GAAP and/or IFRS preferred
Driven and motivated to work within the financial services sector
