The majority of permanent assignments undertaken by the division range from JPY 4m up to JPY 25m, depending on experience. The division places finance professionals with banking experience, though accountancy qualifications are not a pre-requisite in all roles.
Candidates are interviewed thoroughly in person by both Japanese and English consultants who are experienced in a variety of interviewing techniques. This enables us to fully understand our candidates’ experience, motivations, ambition and personality to make the right match for them with our clients. All candidates are briefed fully prior to their details being forwarded to a client.
The Japan division benefits from a dedicated bilingual research function which utilises a broad range of methods to map the local market and generate the best candidate shortlists for our clients. We also have a dedicated researcher based in London sourcing candidates returning or relocating to Tokyo.
