Working as part of a small HR Team, reporting to the UK based HR Manager; the primary focus of this role will be to provide a high quality, timely and effective advise service to managers and staff on a wide range of HR matters, including but not limited to performance management, disciplinary, grievance, pay and benefits, and the interpretation of company policies and procedures. In addition the role will require the provision of advice on matters relating to Morgan McKinley's wider temporary workforce.

 

Roles/Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing policies and procedures, as well as taking the lead on HR initiatives, such as designing and implementing a new induction process. Additionally, they will work closely with the HR Co-ordinator, assisting with staff exit interviews, developing and providing management information, as well as assisting with general HR administration.

 

It will suit a HR Officer who has a generalist background, and ideally you will have already worked at HR Officer / HR Advisor level within another fast paced professional services environment.

Personal Attributes


The right candidate will be able to juggle conflicting priorities, establish credibility with managers, and have excellent interpersonal skills. You must have strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation. The CIPD qualification or working towards this would be a distinct advantage, although not essential. This is an operational, hands-on role, and you must be able to demonstrate flexibility and working on your own initiative with limited supervision. Furthermore, it will require you to utilise your relationship management skills, working closely with all levels of staff including Senior Managers.

 

The role will be based in our London offices, and there may be some limited travel to our other UK offices. Immediate start.
