Group Accountant

Job Description

Morgan McKinley is recruiting for a leading blue chip business in Wiltshire.

Our client is looking to recruit a talented and ambitious Accountant to act as a business partner to budget holders in the business, and ensure that the operational profit and loss account for the group is reported accurately and in a timely manner.

Specific responsibilities will include management reporting (with insightful commentary) for operational sites, business planning and forecasting, and provision of robust challenge to the Operational business (in relation to comparison of budget to actuals) and of assumptions made by budget holders during the planning process.

The successful candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (or equivalent), and is likely to come from an Accountancy Practice background and possess strong financial control experience. Experience of group reporting, managing a small team, SAP skills and the ability to explain and challenge complex financial transactions with non-finance staff are all highly desirable.
