Commodities Risk Analyst

Job Description

A commodities trading house, trading in physical oil amongst other products requires a junior risk analyst to join the team on a permanent basis.

The role will require the ideal candidate to carry out the following responsibilities:

• Produce daily PnL working effectively with Front office
• Daily Risk and Var Reporting. Explain P&L and provide analysis through the Greeks.
• Provide management information and detailed analysis.
• Develop strong relationships with the front office and provide cover for other areas within the business.

Furthermore, the ideal candidate must demonstrate the following skills to include:

• Pnl production experience
• Commodities product experience beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Highly numerate and analytical mindset.
