Job Description
One of the world's largest banks has opened up a new and exciting role as a Risk Control and Compliance Analyst. You will complete anti-money laundering risk assessment mainly by assisting required checks and conducting researches and screening using the internet or other third party services, and creating data or preparing forms to complete the assessment. You will assist to control information security risk and conflict of interest, to monitor licensed activities, sanction, fraud and bribery risks, maintaining divisional business continuity plans and ad-hoc issues arise from the internal control and compliance related matters You will need solid communication skills, good interpersonal skills and to be an exceptional team player.
Role/Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to the members of Internal Control Unit, which is in charge of the internal control, information security and compliance related matters within compliance, to complete anti-money laundering risk assessment mainly by assisting required checks and conducting researches and screening using the internet or other third party services, and creating data or preparing forms to complete the assessment.
- Assist team members to control divisional compliance, information security and internal control related matters such as to control information security risk and conflict of interest, to monitor licensed activities, sanction, fraud and bribery risks, maintaining divisional business continuity plans and ad-hoc issues arise from the internal control and compliance related matters.
- Assist team members to complete anti-money laundering risk assessment by conducting researches and screening using the internet and other web based services.
- Assist team members to accomplish divisional compliance, information security and internal control related tasks
- Providing support on an ad hoc basis to the rest of the team.
- General administrative tasks.
Skills
- Knowledge of operational risk methodologies
- A financial services background, ideally in investment banking.
- Good working knowledge of MI reporting/development/principals
- IT skills: Strong Excel, and other MS Office applications
- Good PC skills (Excel skills)
- Japanese, Arabic, Russian language skills are beneficial
