Job Description
A leading wealth manager has opened up a couple of exciting vacancies for a Credit Specialist. You will be completing an in-depth analysis of complex security cases, documenting any risk surrounding unperfected cases, escalating the findings to the Project Manager, and performing necessary remediation of files where required, to protect the Bank's position. You will need to possess good communication skills and implementing credit decisions.
Role/Responsibilities
- Strong background in Credit/Lending.
- Understanding the credit process and be able to resolve issues and complete complex lending to the client's requirements as well as having a clear understanding of the importance of risk and governance policies.
- Credit Operations is responsible for all Operational aspects of the lending process at the wealth management, from the point of receiving a loan application from the Front Office the production of facility letters and the drawdown of funds, or the limit marking for overdrafts.
- You will be responsible for reviewing files post-Drawdown to ensure that they remain in order and contain all required correct documentation.
Skills
- Educated to a minimum of degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
- Knowledge ofUKmortgages
- You will possess solid charged security knowledge, including but not limited to charges against Land
- Strong understanding of Credit Documentation.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, a positive can do attitude, and excellent attention to detail, which is essential for this role.
- Previous experience within the financial sector in a lending and security administrative environment.
