Audit Manager

Job Description

An Audit Manager is required for a medium sized firm who prides itself on offering a first class value added service to small and medium sized businesses. Based in central London this firm is looking for an Audit Manager who will pro actively manage a portfolio of clients and lead the planning and delivery of audits, tax advisory and tax compliance. The individual must also look to identify potential new business from these existing clients as well as grow the portfolio. This is an exciting and varied role with a broad client base and is a great opportunity for an Audit Manager to further their skills whilst working closely along side the partners.

Key responsibilities:

• To manage the portfolio and find quick and viable solutions for the clients
• Monitor and review the activities of the audit, tax compliance, tax advisory, accounting services and specialist assignments teams to ensure that all work is delivered to a high standard.
• Report back to the partner with all findings.
• Sign off all audits.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and always look to identify any potential opportunities to increase income and client satisfaction.

The individual:

• Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong people skills are essential as the individual will assist in managing the team on a day to day basis as well as reporting in to the Partner(s).
• Experience within charities, tax and accounts.
• PC literate as well using a variety of audit and in house systems.
