Job Description

Our client, a top Investment Bank, is looking for an L&D professional to work with their Training Programme, to deliver an efficient and professional service to internal and external clients, managing their workload as well as maintaining a commercial focus.

The role holder will be required to manage the following elements of qualification support:

  • Work with the external supplier and Leadership, Learning & Development teams to ensure that all applications for qualifications and training are approved and processed without error.
  • Provide administrative support as necessary for Qualifications policy review and updating and for intranet content.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide ongoing analysis of Qualifications data to budget-holders and relevant business areas.
  • Undertake a range of operational and administrative duties as directed by the Manager to provide support for the management of the Programme's budget. This will include: Managing Purchase Orders, the allocation of invoices to the correct budget, Functional Training Plan analysis and monthly status reporting.
  • The role holder will promote a client focus culture within the programme demonstrating a commitment to idea of improvement by highlighting process improvements and service failures.

To be successful in this role the candidate will need to have experience working in a busy administrative environment and will contribute positively to the organisational culture by demonstrating integrity and client focus at all times. They will work closely with others in a high-performance team taking personal responsibility for development of business skills. In addition, the role holder will demonstrate awareness and adherence to all regulatory requirements, following best practice processes and procedures.

The right candidate will have a broad understanding of the financial service industry and its product types. A working knowledge of basic accounting and statistical analysis relating to budget management would be desirable. A minimum of Intermediate level skills on all MS programmes is essential, as are strong analytical and accuracy skills.
