Job Description

A financial services company based in the City are currently looking for a Compensation Analyst to attract, retain and motivate employees by undertaking a wide range of analytical work. They will be working on analysis of compensation policies and practice and by giving advice on pay levels, market intelligence and trends.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Co-ordinate participation in market surveys including attending job matching meetings, data management and the analysis and interpretation of survey results.
  • Respond promptly to ad hoc job pricing requests to enhance pay decisions and to support the Recruitment team.
  • Gather information from a variety of alternative sources on our competitive position, including monitoring of recruitment and resignations, media commentary and networking.
  • Manage bonus planning data and quarterly accruals.
  • Manage year end compensation cycle including system preparation, data management, and liaising with HR colleagues.
  • Liaise with Compensation members inNorth Americaand with HR team members globally to share information and respond to enquiries.
  • Contribute to the education of HR colleagues and line managers about pay policies and the many factors which influence pay decisions.
  • Undertake a variety of projects and analyses, as required.

The ideal candidate for this role would possess strong analytical skills and numeracy, with high levels of accuracy under pressure. They must be proficient with Excel at least to intermediate level, and will have ideally worked in a Financial Services company previously.
