Job Description
A great opportunity at a top Investment Bank has come available in a OTC Client Clearing Trade Acceptance role. The role sits in the Front Office reporting to the Head of OTC Client Clearing and represents a great opportunity for anybody looking to forward their career.
Key Responsibilities
- The acceptance of OTC trades given-up by clients through vendor platforms such as Markit Wire.
- The calculation of the initial margin impact of new trades on the client's portfolio, using in-house tools, and the monitoring of initial margin limit utilization.
- Working in partnership with Prime Services risk and OTC Collateral operations to ensure client exposure is correctly represented and managed.
- Ensuring all trade lifecycle events have been processed based on client instructions.
- Monitoring of workflows to ensure deals are processed in a timely fashion.
- Management of OTC Client Clearing books in Summit and Calypso to ensure a flat risk position is maintained.
- Primary point of contact for support functions in the resolution of processing exceptions.
- Partnership with the OTC Client Clearing integration team in the on-boarding of clients.
- Acting as a single point of contact for resolution of client and internal queries.
- Key partner with clients and the OTC Client Clearing business in service development.

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build & foster client relationships
- Pro-active approach to all client related issues
- Knowledge of OTC Clearing infrastructure on a front to back basis including:
- Give-up processing
- Margining
- Pricing - product behaviour, yield curves, cash flows
- Trade lifecycle events
- Knowledge of OTC Clearing Processes and related procedures
- Experience of process change and performing User Acceptance Tests
