Bids and Tender Coordinator - Professional Sevices - Salary up to £30k plus benefits
A newly created role has arisen for a Bids & Tenders Coordinator to join the marketing team of a highly successful and reputable accountancy practice in the City of London.
The successful degree educated individual will have experience in bid and tender production / coordination and will have experience working either within marketing or business development.
Responsibilities:
- Developing best practice systems and procedures for bids and tenders, utilising and developing the tender process
- Implementing an efficient and effective process of collating, storing and maintaining high quality material and credentials
- Continually refreshing bid tools, methodologies, templates and libraries of information - e.g. credential database, quality procedures and ensure that they are used
- Ensuring that bids are produced to the highest standards and tailored do the specific client requirements, and ensuring that bids represent the firm's core messages and differentiating factors in line with the firm's business plan
- Rehearse pitch teams for presentations for significant opportunities for the firm;
- Working with the colleagues across the team to ensure consistency of message within our bids and tenders documents
- Act, with the proposals committee, as a clearing house for tenders, developing and applying filters as to the capability of the firm, the suitability of the work and our likelihood of success
- Qualifying and scoping bids by checking various systems and identifying any contracts which may be of interest to the firm, either to bid or for market intelligence purposes
- Developing and maintaining tender tools and materials including a databank of standard wording which will involve liaising with infrastructure groups within the firm
- Responsible for developing and maintaining the tender team intranet pages ensuring relevant content is always available and updated
- Other duties as specified by the Head of Marketing
