Assistant Accountant - Central London - £12-14per hour.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a part-qualified Assistant Accountant for a global media company based in central London.

The Assistant Accountant will report directly to the financial controller in the UK.

Duties will include:

• Assisting Production of management accounts.
• Prepare accruals based on previous month's recharges and forecast information.
• Variance analysis on P+L and all balance sheet, inter-company and bank reconciliations.
• Maintenance of general ledger cost accounts and managing P+L.
• Accounts payable - matching, batching and coding invoices.
• Credit Control (5%).
• Assisting in annual budget and annual audit
• Preparation and lodging of quarterly VAT return.
• Employee expense claims - Posting , reconciliation, payment and resolving of queries.
• Ad-hoc duties.

Requirements:

• Part qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent. (studying).
• Strong Excel skills.
• Good communication skills.
