EMEA Finance Controller (Strategic role)

Job Description

Provide strategic guidance to the business leader regarding business strategy as it relates to achievement of the division's mission, goals and objectives especially as they relate to financial goals and objectives and revenue and profit maximization. Classify all revenues, costs, assets and liabilities related worldwide activities in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and in a manner consistent with overall corporate standards. Responsible for the financial forecasts and the assurance that revenue is properly recorded and reported. Responsible for the management of the P&L and expenses for the business. Directs and has responsibility for the implementation of established accounting policies and procedures, maintenance of the fiscal records and preparation of the financial reports for professional services organization. Directs and has responsibility for the business operations of the business unit. Ensures that adequate control systems are in place to protect the company's assets. Evaluates operating results in terms of product cost, budget controls, compliance with policies/procedures and trends.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant and have experience of both the technology sector and the consulting sector. Alternatively, you may have worked for a technology business and have a desire to move into a consultancy environment within a technology business. You must have business partnering experience at a senior level.
