Financial Accountant

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading and high profile business at a key point in their ongoing growth plans. Reporting to the Financial Controller this role will provide key support in the supply of financial information inclusive of statutory and regulatory returns. The role will also focus on:

• Completion of month end reporting
• Responsibility and control of General Ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
• Production of financial statements to meet internal and external regulations
• Supporting the FC in reviewing internal controls and development of robust processes

The ideal candidate will have gained experience within a technical financial role and have the confidence to control large ledgers; you will either be qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or nearing final stages of your studies. You will also ideally have gained exerience of developing internal controls.
