EMEA Financial Controller, 70K - 80K + competitive benefits,ThamesValley

A permanent job has arisen for an EMEA Financial Controller within a major US blue chip organisation based in theThames Valley. My client has a truly global and diverse business with rapid growth and expansion.

As the EMEA Financial Controller you will: -

• Manage a team of 40 total reports (direct and indirect)
• Provide finance support and leadership to the wider EMEA finance team, commercial and operational managers
• Ensuring the timely delivery of statutory accounts
• Provide detailed financial analysis on balance sheet movements, developing an understanding of drivers and variances
• Be the main point of contact for all technical queries and needs
• Ensure all controls, processes and policies are adhered to across the region
• Driving improvement in reporting processes, systems and controls across EMEA in accordance with regional GAAP,US GAAP and SOX requirements
• Ensuring the delivery of management reporting, budgets, forecasts and driving integrity behind the numbers
• Liaising with internal and external auditors, maintaining the relationship and making improvements where possible

Ideal skill set required

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and European GAAP requirements
• Demonstrable financial accounting and controllership experience
• Team leadership and management experience
• Experience in working in a pan-European experience
