Assistant Vice President Internal Auditor

Our client, an Investment Bank based in the City are looking to recruit an Assistant Vice President Internal Auditor on a permanent basis in London. Expereince of auditing financial products is essential. You will be liaising very closely with the various business units to provide independent and objective assurance and advisory services. A fantastic opportunity for a confident individual to work in a driven auditing team.
 
Key responsibilities will include;
 
Researching and planning audit assignments, undertaking fieldwork and recording results
Auditing Financial Products.
Risk Management- weaknesses and exceptions in audits and make suitable recommendation to rectify limitations.
Monitor the actions taken in response to audit recommendations, and report the current status.
Up to 20% travel in EMEA locations
Maintain  effective relationships with clients
 
You will be educated to a degree level or equivalent. You will hold a recognised accounting certificate ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA or equivalent. Previous experience within external or internal auditing or internal auditing experience with an international bank.
