Job Description

A highly respected,  leading FMCG business based in London are seeking a Tax Manager. This is an opportunity to join a team of over 50 which is split across Europe and North America. The role will report into the Senior UK Tax Manager and is a key role within the team. 

Roles/Responsibilities

The role of the Tax Manager will involve:

  • Advising the business and tax planning teams on strategic risk issues
  • Managing UK compliance (including statutory reporting) with regard to UK companies
  • Ensuring the UK Group's corporate tax requirements are met
  • Assisting with the management of HMRC audit of corporate tax returns
  • Managing year end reporting
  • There is a high level of project work within this role, you will sit on tax lead projects and be the tax representative on multi-disciplinary teams
Skills/Experience

The Tax Manager will have:

  • Strong technical tax capability on tax legislation applicable to UK operations
  • Sound judgement regarding acceptable levels of tax risk
  • Effective project management and implementation skills
  • Application of tax knowledge to commercial knowledge

Educations/Qualifications

The Tax Manager will be:

  • ACA/ CTA (or equivalent)
  • Degree educated (or equivalent)
