Budgets and Forecasts Manager
Our global banking client is seeking a new member to join the MI production team as a contractor with long term potential. The MI team is responsible for global Management Information reporting covering income, costs, headcount, balance sheet, budgeting and forecasting.
The role will require the candidate to work closely with key customers within the Central Decision Support teams
Key responsibilities include:
Complete the periodic budget and forecast processes from Business Unit submission to Group submissions and post submission follow ups
Responsibility for ensuring consistency across relevant divisional MI systems / reports and Group systems / reports
Actively seeking to deliver improvements in data, processes and output – work on internal process re-engineering in the MI Production space
Assisting in other MI reporting deliverables where necessary
Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA OR qualified by experience OR Eqvivalant, with practical experience in a similar role
Sound numerical and analytical skills
Strong academic background
Strong PC Modelling skills including Excel and experience of MI Databases or a similar system for enquiry and analysis
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and under pressure to tight deadlines
Pro-active approach with an inquisitive mind, driven and self motivated with good attention to detail
Quick learner and self starter
Clear verbal and written communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels
Excellent organisational skills
