Credit Analyst, London

Global investment bank is looking to hire a credit analyst to work within their Credit Risk team responsible for sanctioning and monitoring credit exposures to the firm’s counterparties.
 
You will assist in analysing counterparties and sanctioning new counterparties, reviewing existing clients and exposures on a regular basis, credit write-ups, due diligence visits, providing credit input into documentation, liaising with Front Office, and monitoring of collateralized positions and fund performance. 

In order to qualify for this position, you must have the following:

• First degree and relevant vocational qualification
• Excellent understanding of credit fundamentals and analytical skills
• In depth appreciation of the varying degrees of risk inherent in all trading and derivatives products
• Familiarity with broad range of documentation, including ISDA, CSA, ISMA, OSLA, Futures etc, Prime Brokerage etc.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• The ability to converse fluently in another European language would be an advantage
