Change Manager Group Credit Risk, London
My client a Major Investment Bank is looking to hire an experienced Change Manager into their Group Credit Risk team to assist and drive forward the large number of changes they have planned.
The role covers all change management, issue resolution and systems evolution impacting the Group Credit Risk. In addition, managing non-BAU reporting requirements, such as facilitating FSA data requests is also required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage 1 direct report to ensure project deliverables are met in a timely fashion.
- Manage and/or engage in the group wide change initiatives to ensure requirements of Group Credit Risk are raised, understood and adhered to, both from a reporting requirements and risk methodology perspective.
- Represent Group Credit Risk at board meetings, ensuring interests are being met.
- Represent Group Credit Risk at monthly project control committees covering risk infrastructure and risk design.
- Ensure all risk reporting (Basel II & Board Reporting) strategic change requirements are raised and implemented on a timely basis to ensure speed and accuracy of group risk reporting.
- Provide stakeholder input and oversight of SAS infrastructure change and control required for GCR analytics and reporting.
The successful candidate is likely to have the following profile:
- Banking/Financial services experience.
- Experience with Credit Risk-related deliverables.
- Strong knowledge of credit risk principles and credit risk management and mitigation as applied to banking and trading book exposures.
- Strong experience in data interrogation, manipulation and analysis for large volumes of data in order to deliver meaningful management information and valuable insights into key credit risk drivers and their impact on the regulatory capital of the Group.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in order to engage with and influence senior personnel across the group.
- End user experience with risk system development and change.
- Experience with SAS analytics.
