Snr Associate/AVP Credit Analysis – Emerging Markets & Eastern Europe FI’s, London

A major Japanese Investment Bank is looking to hire a credit analyst into their European team to look after credit portfolios of financial institutions with a main focus on Emerging Markets and Eastern European Markets.

You will be working in the Emerging Markets team doing credit analysis and will be expected to be able to hit the ground running. Previous experience in managing portfolios of financial institutions particularly those in Emerging Markets such as Eastern Europe and African Markets is an advantage. You will need to be able to work independently as due to work loads there will be no close supervision.

In order to qualify for this position you should have the following:

• Minimum BSc, further education desirable.
• Previous experience analysing large FI type credits at a major financial institution.
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written.
• Specific knowledge of Financial Institutions analysis.
• Ability to also analyse large non-FI corporate credits. (Desirable)
• Second European language. (Desirable)
