Job Description

A leading Investment bank is looking to recruit a qualified or part-qualified management accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with previous Management Information (MI) experience to join their Shared Services Team. The key focus is cost control and the aim is for the team to be an effective business partner to our clients and to provide first class information to enable effective financial stewardship.

Roles/Responsibilities

– Preparation and delivery of monthly, high quality management information and analysis for relevant management and operating committee meetings.
– Working with the relevant Business Management and Chief of Staff team within General Counsel to ensure they are fully accountable for their total cost of ownership.
– Preparation and analysis of the regular flash and forecasting reports.
– Regular and Ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
– Financial analysis to support cost management initiatives.
– Support the HR & General Counsel lead as required ensuring effective delivery of the Human Resources and General Counsel Service proposition.
– Point of contact for General Counsel, providing guidance and advice on relevant Bank policies and processes.
– Ensuring full compliance with relevant SOX controls streamlining processes as appropriate.

Skills/Experience

- Strong analytical skills.
- Established MI experience.
- Financial / Management Accounting knowledge.

Educations/Qualifications

- Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).

- Good Degree.
