Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at this Global Investment Bank within their Decision Support team.  The role sits in the Rates, Local Markets, Currencies and Commodities businesses (RLMCC) and Sales teams. The main focus of the role is to present strategic analysis, revenue reporting, and financial management to the Business across all products covered in RLMCC.

Roles/Responsibilities

Decision Support effectively sits between the Product Control desks and the Business Management.

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Providing management information, financial management and non-standard financial reporting.
  •  The development and review of prospective  information such as budgets, forecasts, projections, targets, plans and investment propositions
  • Responsible for providing information, commentaries and analysis to Executive Decision Support and Group Finance Functions to support Global banking and Markets results, forecasts, budgets, strategic initiatives and ad hoc investigations
Skills/Experience

As the successful candidate you will have a thorough understanding of Financial Products (with a focus on Rates and FX). Ideally you will have had experience of producing MI to a very high standard and be comfortable reporting to senior management. You will have the ability to think strategically, be analytical and be capable of looking at the bigger picture. In addition, you will have the ability to understand relationships and interpret trends in financial data to develop management information and influence key decision-makers.

Educations/Qualifications

You will be educated to degree standard (or equivalent), and will be a qualified accountant with some post qualified experience.
